Formerly known as Centre for Socio-Legal Studies Association incorporated under Section 21 Registration #: 2003/026875/08 Directors and Trustees Street Law (South Africa), and all its projects, work towards making people aware of their legal rights and how the legal system can be used to protect them. This practical course encourages the use of alternative dispute resolution methods and critical thinking through debates, mock trials and the teaching of human rights. The lives of thousands of people have been changed through their participation in the Street Law programme. Street Law is currently co-ordinating Sexual Harrassment in Schools and HIV, the law and human rights projects and whilst continuing its school programme.
